About us

Name of our group is Pawie Pióra what means Peacock Feathers, it is very characteristic element of our Cracow costume. The group was created In 2006 in Cracow by a passion to music, dance and to enjoying free time. Unique team is form by professional dancers and musicians, among others graduates of Folk Dance Instructor Study and fans of folk dances and costumes. The repertoire contains all national dances, dances from different regions, special traditional character of “Lajkonik”, Christmas carols and folk plays. Since last years it has been added also theatrical plays as “Cracow wedding” or “Four seasons”

The scope of activities of the team include mostly evenings with folklore organized for foreign tourists, workshops and performances of folk dances at weddings, conferences and outdoor events. Pawie Pióra also takes an active part in the life of Krakow during public events.

The main achievements are hundreds of performances, numerous concerts on a various festivals, happenings, banquets and also the author's edition music CD.
